Balance: Balance your spiritual life with your material life

I do not believe that having material wealth is a block to spirituality unless your focus is purely material. In fact with some financial back-up the spiritual process can be more easily accessible. Having the cash to go on a course or really learn how to meditate can speed up the spiritual process. If you are simply living to work rather than working to live then I fear you are missing out on the most beautiful and fulfilling part of life. Balance almost must be achieved in order to fulfil all your wordly desires and reduce your attachment to the material world. In seems impossible to be enlightened or move on spiritually if your mind is full of all these worldly desires. It makes much more sense to have them and still work on your spirituality, in fact you may find that there will come a point when material possessions will be just 'things' nothing more and nothing less.
