Exercises: For Chakra Development & General Health

Although this is not the site for very specific or fat burning exercises, I have included the types of exercises that I feel are very important in activating, balancing and healing chakras. This includes the secondary chakras such as those in the palms and feet. The palm chakras are generally used for healing and the feet chakras are a great way to check if you are grounded.

Tibetian Rites

Probably the most useful method I have ever come across. The Tibetian Rites most certainly increased my energy empowerment abilities and I am sure with consistent use you will have the same benefits. If you are looking for a wonderful anti-aging solution, well look no further. The original author, looked 20 years younger by regular practice of these very basic five exercises. Qigong

Another great method for chakra balance is Qigong. Used throughout the China is now fast becoming a popular practice in the West, for its stress busting, promotion of healing and life increasing abilities. Not to mention another great strategy for anti-aging.

Qigong, which literally means "practice of vital energy", is an ancient Chinese art of meditation and physical maintainence. When it is practiced correctly, it promotes health, mental well-being, martial arts skills, and spiritual development. There are many types of qigong systems. Physical Exercise

Probably by far the best thing you can invest in, in order to be fit and healthy is a gym. Now if you are anything like me and hate going to the gym on cold winters nights or when the weather is fine, the next best thing is having your own personal gym. This does not mean having every single machine in your house, but choosing an good sturdy peice of kit that you use in the privacy of your own home is the greatest start to a fitness programme. I would go for something that gets your heart rate up, and ensure that you find some time to do weights in order to build up muscle. My most favourite exercise machine is the eliptical, not only is it comfortable on your joints, unlike running machines, it also works on your upper body, unlike most exercise bikes. Meditation

Remember that all physical activity will help with chakras, obviously some are more useful than others. You do not need fancy equipment and do not need to be in great shape to get started. Yoga can be custom adjusted to meet your own level of fitness, flexibility and spirituality. In addition to improving your flexibility, yoga will improve your muscle tone, breathing and meditation skills.
