Manipura: The Solar Plexus or Third Chakra
Location
The Manipura chakra is known as the third chakra or solar plexus chakra. It is located at near the naval. Some believe that there is a separate naval chakra on the naval and the solar plexus is slightly higher. For our purposes there is one chakra and it covers the naval area about the size of your palm.

The manipura chakra qualities are similar to that of fire, where transformation, energy, power, ego and the relation to the outside world are prominent. Where the second chakra deals mainly with personal relationships, this chakra deals with your relationship to your surroundings and your world. Many powerful business men have balanced and active third chakras, and this is predominately where they function from.
Visual Representation
The colour associated with this chakra is yellow. A fiery fed triangle, surrounded by 10 blue petals, like the hottest part of the flame.
